Accessibility.

We want everyone to be able to find parts and place an order here, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard Ontario’s accessibility law refers to for websites.

What we’ve built in

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link.
  • Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines, and the layout reflows on small screens and when zoomed to 200%.
  • Images have text descriptions, and form fields have visible labels.
  • Animations are reduced when your device asks for less motion.
  • You can search in plain words or ask the shop assistant instead of browsing menus.

Where we’re still working

Some product information comes from manufacturers and may be incomplete, such as product photos without detailed descriptions. We review and improve it as we go.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the store is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email [support@boatbetter.co] or call [Phone number]. We’ll reply within [one business day], and we can take your order by phone or email if the website doesn’t work for you.
