We ship anywhere in Canada. Shipping costs and any taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.
Where we ship
We ship to addresses in every province and territory. We don’t ship outside Canada yet, so checkout only accepts Canadian addresses.
Cost
Shipping depends on the size of what you order and where it’s going. Each product page shows what that item costs to ship to your province, and checkout shows the total for your whole order before you pay. A trolling motor costs more to ship than a box of fuses. Dangerous goods and rural addresses add a small fee. Shipping is taxed at the same rate as your order, as Canadian tax rules require.
Free shipping
Products marked as shipping free on their page ship free once those items reach the amount shown in your cart. Large and heavy items, dangerous goods and some other products pay their usual shipping rate, even in the same order. Free shipping isn’t available to the Yukon, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut.
How long it takes
- In-stock items: ship within 3–5 business days, and we email tracking the day yours ships.
- Delivery: usually [2 to 7 business days] after shipping, depending on where you are. Remote and northern addresses can take longer.
- Carriers: [Canada Post and Purolator].
Delivery times are estimates from the carrier, not guarantees.
Tracking
When your order ships, we email you the tracking details.
Ground-only and oversize items
Lithium batteries, marine flares and some chemicals are regulated dangerous goods and can only travel by ground. Orders that include them can take longer, especially to remote areas, and a few remote addresses can’t receive them at all. If that applies to your address, we’ll contact you before shipping.
Large items such as anchors, covers and trolling motors may ship separately from the rest of your order.
Check your address
Make sure your shipping address is complete. If a parcel comes back because of an incorrect address, we’ll contact you, and reshipping may cost extra.
Lost or damaged parcels
If your tracking shows no movement for several days, or the parcel arrives damaged, email [support@boatbetter.co] with your order number. Keep the packaging of damaged parcels until we’ve sorted it out with the carrier.
